Kids’ Workshop

The purpose of the workshop is to link the children of the village and the children who can attend Campo Artfest through the realization of a collective installation to be presented on the day of the festival in homage to all those who supported the 2020 crowdfunding. The idea is for each child to experience collage, assembly and painting in their own work using waste materials that we find in our daily consumption. We work with boxes of different sizes so that they can put together a composition taking into account the forms and material chosen and then paint them by creating their own colors from the primary ones. Once these are done, a collective installation was created with each of the works created by the children.

BIO

Flavia Erenberg (Uruguay, 1976) is a visual artist. She received her artistic training in drawing, painting and collage workshops in Uruguay, Argentina and the USA. Her work is mainly based on the collage technique, which she builds with papers she collects from the walls of downtown Montevideo and different cities around the world. It is from the accumulation of layers of street posters that Flavia enjoys discovering the shapes, colors, textures and words that she selects to compose her works. Her interest is also in the dialogue between papers from different cultures, cities and eras, making a connection with the rest of the world in each work. She seeks to incorporate the mass character and his own by posing the connection of the individual and his or her context.
